About Us
The Chrome Pony Mustang Club is a nonprofit organization, established to provide and promote interest in the Ford Mustang. We share technical information, sources for parts and services needed, and
general knowledge about the Mustang. In 1996, the club was formed by a small group of Mustangs enthusiasts who wanted to share their interest of Mustangs with others. In February of 1998, after
meeting all of the requirements, the club was recognized as a Chartered Regional Group of the Mustang Club of America.
We have participated in events such as Riverspree, Christmas Parades, Southgate Mall Motorfair, and have co-sponsored car shows with local Ford dealers. In 1999, we attended the 35th Ann. of the
Mustang at Lowe's Motor Speedway, and many of us took the opportunity to drive our Mustangs on the track. In 2004, we participated in the 40th Ann. in Nashville and were among the first to see the
new 2005 Mustang. Our car shows have raised money to benefit local charities such as Albemarle Hopeline, SPCA, Special Olympics, Wesley Hospitality House, Vol. Fire Depts., Make a Wish Foundations,
and many others.
In addition to community involvement, our group enjoys cruises, fellowship, and sharing the spirit of the Mustang with anyone who will listen to us.
If you are interested in joining a group of Mustang enthusiasts, even if you don't own a Mustang, you are invited to visit us at our next meeting. The CPMC meets the first Tuesday of every month at
7:00 pm at Pam's Place, 680 Pitts Chapel Rd.
